Only one Mathtype command can be executed at one time

I have Work 2007 everytime I try to paste into a word document. I keep getting the message only one mathtype command can be executed at a time how do I get rid of this so I can copy and paste. The hotfix did not work either. If I install 2010 and uninstall 2007 will that solve the problem? Or is there and easy fix for this?

    Did you try repairing Office 2007 from control Panel? If no, then try repairing Office 2007 and check. Refer to the ‘Method 2: Run the Detect and Repair feature’ in the following article:
