Resources allocation flagging red with low allocation

Any ideas as to why in MS Project 2010, in the Resource Usage view, sometimes certain tasks under the Resources flag red at (say for example) just 6 hours of utilisation and other tasks do not flag red at (say for example) 12 hours of utilisation
I use the standard calendar, no modification have been made to the resources calendars etc
