Debug Assertion Failed error

Bought a Lenovo computer in Dec 2010 & purchased Microsoft Office H&S 2010 at same time.  Got a "Product Key card" and installed successfully.

Suddenly I am now getting a "Debug Assertion Failed" error pointing to igfxsrvc.exe  line 170 Expression SUCCEEDED (jRes).  I had just downloaded files from my cell phone to the computer and tried to open one of the files.  After shutting down and restarting, I can now open the jpg files but WORD and EXCEL give me a message that I am opening a TRIAL VERSION.

I have SP1 installed, and opening WORD in Safe mode gives same results.

Can you help???

Finally found the solution.  Right click any WORD file.  Choose OPEN WITH  and choose Microsoft Office Home&Student 2010.   Now choose REPAIR.  Took about 5 minutes and a reboot, but now both WORD and EXCEL work.
