Exchange 2016 Outbound test failed error

Hello Support,

I deployed Exchange 2016 with a public ip set up, when I tried to test outbound email from exrca.com, it shows error failed with ip address xxx.xx.xx.xx ( my public ip) doesn't have a PTR in DNS. May I know how and where I should set up this PTR, if any step by step guidance would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

    Hi @HybriAdmin ,

    Agree with Andy that the PTR needs to be set up in external DNS.

    Besides, as mentioned in the document below, reverse zones are typically maintained by your ISP, so you can contact your ISP to help with this.
    IP Address does not have a PTR record in DNS
