Does databricks instance pool charges even if it is not used

Hi Team,

Question - We have instance pool in databricks and suppose if it is unused then it is charges or not .. or we have to pay only for the time for which the instance get created and terminated after running the job..

We are not deleting it and we are just not using it .. is it still chargeable or not ?

    Hi @Rohit Boddu

    Databricks does not charge DBUs while instances are idle in the pool. Instance provider billing does apply.
