Error code 0x8007232B- I have this error coming up.  I have uninstalled Office 2010.  I have re-installed a new version of Office 2010 and still get the error.  Very frustated.  Can someone help me?  How do I permanently delete my current version and re-install a new version without getting the error again?  Thanks.

Do you get the error message while installing Office or activating Office?

Which is the suite of Office did you purchase?

If you get the error message while installing Office then uninstall Office completely from the system by running the fixit tool from the link given below:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

If you get the error message while activating Office 2010 then refer the link given below and Check the troubleshooting steps provided by Ganesh Kumar N:

Which is the suite of Office did you purchase?

Is Office 2010 a volume licensing copy?

Did you try running the Fix It tool from the link mentioned above?

Running that tool would remove all installed components of Office on the machine.

If you tried running the tool, did you the tool completing the uninstall progress?

Nothing sees to be working. I am not at all technical and I am getting frustrated now. I just want to get rid of the error.

A friend suggested I may need to wipe my computer as it seems the original Ofiice 2010 may have been counterfeit and is now embedded in my laptop??????

I had a previous version of Office 10 on my pc when I worked at a company which I have now left.  I have tried to uninstall that version through the control panel.  It appears as though it has been uninstalled. When I try to install a new version, although I can get into all the applications, I get a big error message with the code mentioned.  I want to be able to completely wip all traces of my previous version of Office 10 and install my new version.  I have even tried uninstalling, installing Office 2007 (no error) and then re-installing Office 2010 (error).  I am using Windows 7.  I am getting really frustated as I have tried everything!!  Thanks.
