Is the computer connected to Network or Domain?

How are you trying to access the Excel file, is it from Outlook or from hard drive?

    Hi All,

This is how I solved this problem.

    1. I did install the Microsoft File Converter Pack but am not sure if it was needed.
    2. Right Click the file and Select "Save As". A dialogue box will open, you can change the file name if you want but I did not change the File Type, the default selection is 2007 MSOffice file type.
    3. Once Saved, open the file with the same password as the earlier file and it should open.
    4. If you want to take it back to the old excel version, just do a "Save As" once again and select the excel file version of your choice and hit save.

This worked for me. All the Best.
