tank level chart

hi

forum partners

i have a un solved  problem from long time

i have a circle diagram  which need to be linked to a cell

the cell represent the level of water in the tank in % (from 0 to 100%)

the circle will have two  colors   white for the empty portion

blue for the filled portion

now when i increase or decrease the cell value

the blue colour in the circle should raise or fall to indicate the water level

can any one ...help

Hi,

Andy Pope has done something very similar to this using Excel charts and it seems to me that the 'Simple' chart in this sample workbook may be what you want.

The chart in question is a thermomoter in the range 0% to 100% but that 0% to 100% could equally easily be your tank level.

    I may not have understood your requirement well but looks like you want a Pie chart.
