hi,
i'm trying to convert fixed width excel file into text file using .prn formatted. however, .prn files will only cater up to 240 characters per line. Anything more than 240, it will truncate to the next line.
since my excel data consist more than 240 characters per line, so any ideas on how to convert it into text file.

Hi,
thanks for reply.
i need to keep the size of data/columns.. TEXT or CSV type is not working for this. do you have any other options? since my system only cater for text file only.
thanks,
regards
Open the file in Excel.
Choose Save As and either choose TEXT or CSV options... click YES on the prompts.
Open the file you have saved in Notepad or any other Text Editor you have. Try to save in differenct formats and see the difference when you open in Notepad. Choose the one which meets your requirements.
