Did you purchase a retail copy of Office 2010 or do you have Office 2010 starter on the computer?

Did you install Office 2010 as Click-To-Run version in your computer?

If yes, you may refer to the link below to uninstall the click to run version and install the MSI based version and check if it works fine.
