Hi friend ,Please uninstall FastPictureViewer & FastPictureViewer Pro....

Then Restart your Office2013, you can see the button comeback!

Enjoy, 孩子

    Thanks for your reply.

I've tried it but still the same. And I don't think that dues to the hardware graphics acceleration, since when I installed Office 2013, that option is checked by default and it worked well then.

I just don't know how to figure it out that what causes these situations.

I had the same issue.  After 10 hours with Microsoft and HP tech support and one replaced video card, nothing worked until I found Sam Wo-Derek's post.  Solved all problems I have been experiencing since installing Office 2013 (missing restore, minimize, close buttons, loss of Win 7 Aero transparency, and faulty Calculator display).  Thank you.

On the File tab, select Options and then in the General dialog, select the Dark Gray Office Theme and see if that makes any difference.

From the File tab, select Options and then click on Advanced and then in the Display section of the dialog, check the box for Disable hardware graphics accelerationand see if that makes any difference.
