tag searching multiple

I added several hundred tags to my pages. Now I'm trying to search for them.

For example, I want to search for all the pages that have tagX and tagY on them.

Is this possible? All the Microsoft help pages for search seem to tell me to 'Find Tags' but then all I can see I can do is get a huge long list of 100's of pages, one per tag. (That's not a search in MY humble opinion. That's a 'detailed report for the human to read through').

    Halo.

There is *no* build-in feature for filtering items based on tag combination

    e.g.

search and dispaly items having [tag1] and [tag5]

search and display items without [tag9]

search and display items having [tag4] and [tag6] but without [tag7]

    etc.

    Thanks.

    Same here.

    It's a must have feature

Any updates on this in newer versions of OneNote?

It makes the usage of tags a bit useless when the notebook is heavy and crosslinked - searching by multiple tags is a must and it's already a standard in many fields.

That sounds like at least the 1st step of what I want to do. But I don't see it on my Tag Summary page (I'm using the full featured, not the ResTricted/forced full screen metro version of the 2013 oneNote app if it makes a difference)

When I look at the Tags Summary windows, I see a dropdown on the upper right that offers move, size close. The next line says Search completed. The next line Group tags by with a set of headers to choose. Then I have a 'Show only unchecked items', then the dozens of of tags and their 100's each of associated pages. (in a scrollable list, collapsible by category, such as tag.)

At the bottom I have Search: This notebook and a bunch of related choices such as 'last week'.

I then have Refresh Results and Create Summary Page button.

Finally I have 'See also Customize tags'.

Can you tell me where the 'search list arrow' is relative to one or more of the above?

My objective, as above, is to find all the pages that have a set of tags, such as tagX AND tagY AND tagZ. Not a list of 300 pages that have tagX, then independent, a list 50 that have tagY (of which perhaps 1 or 2 also have tagX) etc.., I want to see the list of the 1 or 2 that have both tags. (The union)

To search for a specific tag, click the search list arrow in the tags summary task pane and select which tags you would like to display.
