I have one Error! Bookmark not defined showing up in my TOC.  When I toggle fields codes I see { PAGEREF_Toc385484708 \h} This toc bookmark does not show up in my list of hidden bookmarks andI have no other bookmarks in the document. I can remove it manually but it comes back the next time I generate the TOC. Not sure if relevant but it is the very first line in my TOC. All the rest of the TOC entries are correct. Anyone know what's causing it and more importantly, how to fix it? Thanks!(Word 2010 on Win 7)**Error! Bookmark not defined.**Error! Bookmark not defined.

Your post was moved to the Word forum by a moderator and the original reply deleted.

I would suggest that you delete the TOC entirely and start from scratch. You should not see a PAGEREF field in the TOC; when you toggle field codes, the only field code you should see is the TOC field itself.

Had one reply but the person just mentioned that I had posted in the Publisher forum and not the word forum. Would have reposted to the correct forum but I can't see where this is the publisher forum or where the word forum is. Still have the problem. Still handling it manually.
