Printing problem with tables

After inserting a table and filling it out, I try to print.  In the print preview, the spacing of the rows doesn't match the table I completed.  I changed the row height to .19" (a single line) but the print preview will show the first line as single, the second as double, the third as single, etc.  How to correct so that all the rows are the same height?

If you send me the document containing the table, I will investigate the issue.

I use Word tables a lot and need to have the gridlines print.  I set the height of each cell to be .19".  The column size varies but the cell height does not.  The screen entry is OK.  The problem occurs when I want to print.  A print preview shows that the cell height is now varied.  Usually, the first line is OK.  The second line is double the height.  The third line is back to OK.  The fourth line is double...................and so forth.  Before I start the table, I make sure the cell height is set up but it makes no difference.  I keep getting the single/double/single/double pattern.  What happens between the commands to print and the print preview???

I need the table to work on a single line basis.  How can I do this?

    Split from this thread.

I have set the row height repeatedly.  However, when I do a print preview, the row height is variable.  In a table of 20 rows, for example, the first row is OK, The second row is double the height.  The third row is OK again.  The fourth row is double again,  This pattern continues for the rest of the table.  This means that the information I inserted in the rows on the Word screen isn't in separate rows on the print preview screen.  I checked out the printer and don't find a problem there.  So, how do I override the single/double pattern?  I use tables constantly and this is making me crazy.  Help!
