A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data.
Check with the DocRecrypt folks - they probably know exactly why it's not being recognized (quite possibly a path issue).

I'm trying to remove or change a password on a Excel worksheet. I installed the DocRecrypt command line program; however, every time I enter the syntax I receive DocRecrypt isn't recognize. So, obviously this won't work if it isn't recognized as a command.
I've also tried the hack of changing the .xlsx file to a zip, extract the contents, and navigate to the sheet's xml file. After removing the sheetprotection line, I rezip the package and change the .zip back to .xlsx but when opening I get an error. So, the excel spreadsheet will not open.
So, I'm pretty stuck in getting pass the protection password. Any suggestion are welcome. And no, I'm not trying to get into someone's Excel document.
