PowerPoint Slideshow Broken Graphs

When I insert 3D pie chart, the charts gets broken when on slideshow. By this I mean that the pie chart is not properly displayed. Half of the chart is shown correctly at the center and that same half is shown again near the border. The other half is not shown. This only happens on slideshow mode. All the other elements/text/objects in a slide are shown correctly. This also happens with Word Art, 3D bar graph, 3D line graph. When I use flat pie chart or flat bar graphs or plain text, they are shown correctly during slideshow. Surprisingly, inserting a 3D smart object has no problem displaying it. I have already reinstalled my Office 2010 and applied SP2 update but did not work.

    Hi Chris,

Let us uncheck the Hardware graphics acceleration option following the steps below and check if the issue occurs:

    • Click on File, go to Options.
    • Click Advanced and go to Display.
    • Check/uncheck Disable Hardware Graphics Acceleration and Slide show Graphics Acceleration options. Note: If these options are already checked, then uncheck it. If not checked, then check it.

    Hope the suggestion is helpful.

If it works when you disable hardware Graphics it normally means you need to update the drivers.

Other people on other PCs will probably not see the problem so may not need to take this step.

    Thanks

    This was helpful.

But when we send a presentation out as ppsx, we can't alter it on all the machines.

Is there any way we can convert it to one format where all the machines can see them in the same manner?

(converting it to a image will be a good option but I guess then we will be loosing out on image quality)
