Is there any reason the creation date in PowerPoint 2010 would show as a 2006 year when it was created in a 2013 year if the slideshow was created new and not using SaveAs and the date and time are correct in Windows?

Thanks. I figured it out. When right-clicking on the desktop and creating New the file using PowerPoint it is based on the ShellNew date for that application. Interesting.

Did you create the presentation youself??

Did you maybe start with a "template" that was really a ppt or pptx presentation?

Only thing I can think of is to click on Insert/Date and Time and see what the default date is for the Master Slide.
