I am trying to create a database model in Visio.

I can display the field (colmn) names etc but would like in the display to show the notes field.

Is this possible?

thanks!

Hi,

Please see Mr. Barb Way said, I copied here:

"Unfortunately, there is no way to display the Notes information in the diagram itself in Visio Pro 2007 (or earlier).  There are several options on the Database > Options > Document settings dialog, but Notes is not an item which can be 'exposed'.  Also, since the information is contained internally in the Database Model, it is not present in the Shapesheet for manipulation."

    Thanks George.

I sort of got round this by putting in the 'user friendly' name as part of the field. Not ideal but it is good enough.
