Hello,

I got an error message JAVA heap place. 

Any idea how to solve it.

    Yes, maybe. It would have been helpful if you told us that in your original post. Matter of fact, you need to give us a whole lot more information before we can begin to help.

    Do you have Project installed on your PC? If so, what version? What update level? What operating system? Are you in a Project Server environment? How exactly did you try to open the file?

    Assuming you do have Project, does it open? If it does, can you open other Project files?

    It happened to me while trying to open Microsoft Project file.

    Sorry but this part of this forum is dedicated exclusively to question/issues about Microsoft Project, a planning and scheduling application. I suggest you delete this post and find a forum that deals with JAVA.
