Did you register your email address when you installed Office 365 subscription?

Are you using the same email account that was used to subscribe Office 365?

Provide us the screen shot of the complete error message you receive while installing Office on the computer.

In the mean while you may also try the following steps and check if it helps with the installation.

You may sign in to www.office.com/myaccount using the same live id which was used to register Office

365 Home and check if it displays Office in the account page.

If you find Office 365 Home subscription information, you may run the fix it tool from the following article which will remove all the installed components of Office 365 Home from the computer.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501

Once the uninstallation is completed you may use the installation source file to reinstall Office 365 Home on the computer and verify the status.

I hope the above information helps. Let us know if you need further assistance.

Thank you.

    Hello,

I know how difficult it is if you are unable to install Office on the computer.

let’s  manually uninstall Office 365 by following the section ’**Manual steps to remove Microsoft Office 2013 MSI installations’**from the following article this will remove all the installed components of Office 365 from the computer.

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501

Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

Once the uninstallation is completed, you may start the computer in clean boot mode this would disable all the non-Microsoft applications and the antivirus which could be one of the reason for the installation error.

Refer the article below to start the computer in clean boot.

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: Ensure to restart the computer in normal mode after completing the troubleshooting steps.

I hope the above information helps. Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thank you.

I am using Office 365 University.  It was working fine until one day I opened Outlook and it would not open.  I attempted to uninstall Office 365 University.  The instructions that came with Office 365 University told me to go to www.office.com/verify, enter my 25 digit Product Key.  I went there and deactivated the product and then tried to re-install the product.

I got Error Code 30175-11.  I looked up the Error Code and was directed to support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501 where I found a much more complete method of uninstalling Office 365 University.  My installation is a "Click-to-Run Installation.  I first used the 0125CTRRemove.diagcab to remove Office 365 University.  I followed up by using the information in KB 2739501, Click-to-Run instructions to find a few items that 0125CTRRemove.diagcab failed to get.

I went back on line at www.office.com/verify, entered my 25 digit Product Code, and tried to install Office 365 University.  This time I got Error Code 5-4.  When I went on line with that Error Code, I found your help section.  Please help.  One of my choices is to uninstall Office 365 University and install Office Professional 2010.  When I get a new computer, I could then install Office 365 University.  My email address has not changed.

I decided in the end to completely reinstall Windows 8 (overkill, I know but it worked). My suspicion now is that I used a different email address to sign up for the Microsoft Windows 8 'Store' than I did for my Office 365 subscription and that was causing the problem. Thanks for your help anyway.
