  1. Windows 7.
  2. Office 2010.
  3. Can print test page.
  4. Can print from Word.
  5. Open an excel file (it was edited from other computer and is in .xls format).
  6. Try to print a sheet, the file goes to the queue of printer and then dissapears wihout printing anything.
  7. I create a copy of this sheet to the end of workbook, try again to print it and the same thing happens. The file goes to the queue of the printer and then disappears.
  8. I create a new empty sheet in the same workbook. I CTRL+A the content from the sheet I couldn't print in the newly created empty sheet. I print normally the sheet without problem.
  9. I install a new printer for testing reasons. I send all the prints normally without excpetions and without problems from all sheets.
  10. I uninstall the printer that I had the problem, I reinstall the printer. Same issues.

I suspect that something is going wrong with the properties (settings) of this sheet in relation with the specific printer. I have cheked the sizes and other properties and can't find anything that is different with the printer that is printing normally without any problem. Both printers are A4 size.

Could you please suggest me any solution?

Regards

    Hello,

Welcome to Microsoft Community and thank you for posting your query.

Let me assist you with Excel issue.

Do you find the issue with one particular .xls or all .xls files?

You may save a copy of the .xls in .xlsx format and then try to print the file and check if it works as expected.

You may also install latest printer drivers and verify the status.

I hope the above information helps. Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thank you.

Do you use a 32bit or 64bit version of Office 2010?

Check if there is splwow64.exe running in the windows task manager. If you find something like that you can disable the process and check if it fixes.

Check this to disable print spooler.

I find the issue to all .xls files.

I have just save the xls file to xlsx format but again I can't print it.

Also I have the latest drivers to my printer.

If I make a new empty sheet in this workbook and and copy paste the content from the sheet I couldn't print, then I can print the new sheet. Is this strange?
