Using Office 2007 my brother created a XL file that is linked to access for my home business. I input data into the XL file thats linked to acccess. I print it from an access file. I  bought new pc & Office Pro 2013 &  I uploaded all my business files & my access file will not work.It says file name is not a valid path, makesure pathname is spelled correct & that you are connected to the server on which file resides. I don't know how to fix this??  My brother is unable to help,Anyone know anything about this?  Thanks!

No problem...  Just you know, when you move a database the PATH it had on the old computer is going to be different on the new computer.  By using the Linked Table Manager you are telling Access that you moved the file and to update the link to reflect that/  You will need to do this any time you move any of the files assoicated with the database.

Sounds like you need to redo the link via the Linked Table Manager on the External Data tab.  Or have you done that already and are still having trouble?
