OneNote for Mac works with personal OneDrive accounts. You will need to sign in with your Microsoft Account used with your personal OneDrive. Currently, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint are not compatible. Follow the Office Blogs for updates.

is free but can I use it with an Office365 account? I down loaded OneNote for Mac but when I add an account, my Office 365 account says "The email address or password is incorrect. Please try again."
Indeed, seems silly to me because I can use for example Office for iPhone with my 365 account but not this.
I'd cal this a failure.

There are really no help files. I had to stumble my way through a todo list and have working although I have an extra step. Now I want to create an address book. Video Series would be helpful. Right now its not much different than an old Foxbase Database application I use to have you open it and was presented with a Blinking cursor and you had to fly by seat of your pants.
