Error Code 3-1 Installing Office 2013

I am trying to install Office Pro Plus 2013 on my PC and I am getting the error message 3-1.  Last month I tried a trial version of Office 2013 to attempt to open a document for work at home.  I have since uninstalled the programs on my computer and am wondering if this is related.
