Hello All,
I have what could be a very simple problem but I can not get my head around it.
I have a Worksheet which has a data table and a Bar Chart on it, the Data Table holds some pretty comprehensive calculations therefore I have had to protect it. My issue is that with the Worksheet protected, the users are not able to move the data labels on the bar graph to their desired position.
More details:
Graph type: Stacked Column's with one series of data hidden so to create a Waterfall chart ( please see image below)
As you can see depending on the colour of the column and whether it is an increasing or decreasing value the Data Labels need to be shown in a different position. Which is why I think it would be best to allow the user of the spreadsheet to move the labels themselves.
The Graph has been set to unlocked, and when I Protect the work sheet, I tick the box to allo users to edit objects.
Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

I don't think so, as I have tested it in office 2007.
Find below, a link file where its working.
Hope it helps.
In case, it doesn't help, then please upload your file and share link here.
Could it be because I am using Office 2010? or am I missing a setting somewhere else?
For me, it allows to change the position of labels once I tick "Edit Object" to True while protecting the sheet.
