Hello to everyone, i'm working on an Excel 2003 and i need to change almost 200 links.

I wanna change the default location of hyperlink, when i click on link i see "Search in:" and appear the directory where xls is located.

I tried to follow this page:

http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/excel-help/set-the-base-address-for-the-hyperlinks-in-a-workbook-HP005202555.aspx

But didn't work for me.

What can i do?

Thank you

    Hi Marco,

For the purposes of this forum, I would add that I am unable to replicate your problem, If I follow the instructions suggested by the link document, I am readily able to change the default hyperlink base address.

To test this, I created a document Marco.docx and saved the document in two different folders, one of which was the current default hyperlink folder. I opened a new workbook and created a hyperlink to Marco.docx. I then used the link instructions to change the default hyperlink base address and added another hyperlink to Marco.docx.  Depending on which of the two hyperlinks I click, the Marco.docx file which opens is the one in the original default folder or the document in the new default folder.

Given, however, your problem. in your other thread, I have suggested a macro to change the address of your existing 200 hyperlinks.
