converting excel spreadsheet to a visual basic stand alone

Our company has 4 locations.  There is an electronic delivery board (EDB) for each location saved on our network to be accessed by all sales/ops personnel.  Each branch's EDB varies slightly.  There is a separate EDB for every week of the year. I have a master for each location to create these from.  For easy visibility, my sample below only shows the first two days.  The EDB has all five days.  They auto-save & auto-close after two minutes.  Most of the rows are hidden.  When something is typed in the last row, a new one un-hides.   The time requested column has a drop down to choose: 1ST, AM, PM, or ANYTIME.  My problem is those who use this, well I just don't know how they do it, but the drop-down becomes blank, the totals formula's change, and other .  We also have a few counter computers that do not have office, but Open Office which really causes havoc with the visual basic programming.  That location has refrained from using those computers.  I tried a visual basic code to make this all work if I password protect the vital cells.  But that acted strange also.  Such as the settings of what options the user has, but when I look at the settings, they have changed to only "select lock cells".  I received this code from a question I posted on the internet.  I now have removed it.  I would like this to be a visual basic stand alone so no one can mess it up.  (I'm the one who has to fix it every time.)  I've searched the internet if it can be converted.  I also downloaded Visual Basic Express 8.0 to teach myself visual basic. I took a class for 5.0, but it didn't make sense.  8.0 has very good on-line instructions.  I'm looking for advise for the best solution to my problem.  Not asking anyone to give the visual basic code.

Thank you for all advise.
