Hi, recently I found that when I close my excel workbook it will appear window below:-

"Cannot find 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\Root\Office15\LIBRARY\SLIDES[SLIDES.XLA]SLIDES'!mcs75.TemplateAutoClose, which has been assigned to run each time Revenue compliance test 20141.xlsx is closed. Continuing could cause errors. Cancel closing Revenue compliance test 20141.xlsx?"

I found this is very annoying and this problem also appear to my other workbooks.

I don't know why this problem appear as I did not use any macro things which I do not know.

Please help me to solve this.

Thank you.

Hi PwaYee Guo,

Welcome to Microsoft community where you can find all the answers related to Office.

As per the description provided, you are unable to quit Excel. Let me help you to close Excel completely.

This issue may occur if the Excel add-in is missing. Let us restart Excel in its application safe and check if the issue occurs.

To open Excel in its Safe Mode, follow these steps:

Click Start, go to Programs, go to Accessories, and click Run, type Excel /safe. (Note that there is a space between Excel and**/**)

If the application works fine safe mode, try disabling the add-ins for the application and check the result,

  • Click the File tab.
  • Go to Options.
  • Click Add-ins.
  • Click on GO options beside Manage, uncheck all the add-ins and click OK.

Hope the suggestion is helpful. If you need further assistance, reply and we will be glad to assist you.

Thank you.
