I have a jpg image in my footer and would also like to add page numbers to my document. Whenever I do this, it deletes the image. Is there a way to keep the image but also add page numbers?

Anything you put in a header or footer is meant to be repeated on each page. Is the picture not also repeating? You can't just type the page number in the text box, though; you have to insert a PAGE field. The easiest way to do that is to press Alt+Shift+P.

Put the page number in a text box In Front of Text or format the JPEG as Behind Text and then add the page number in the text layer.

I thought of that, but when I insert a page number in a text box, it applies that to each page. Would I have to use page breaks or something?
