Product did not finish installing.  Everything popped up to redo after I had thought I had it installing and it went through process again.  Help

    Hi Poorna Chandra,

Based on the description you’re not able to install the Office and receiving the error message ‘Something Went Wrong’.

Follow these steps and check if it helps in resolving the issue with installing the Office:

    Step 1:

Run the setup file as an Administrator and check the installation completes.

Download and save the file on the desktop.

Right click on the setup file and then click on ‘Run as Administrator'.

Step 2: Stop and start or restart the Microsoft Office Service:

    • Hold Windows key +R.
    • Copy and paste, or type the following command in the Open box, and then press Enter:

    services.msc

    • If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.
    • In the Services list, double-click the Microsoft Office Service.
    • In the Windows Installer Properties dialog box, click Automatic in the Startup type list.
    • Click Start, click Apply, and then click OK.

    Start the software installation.

    Step 3:

Check for multiple/trial version of the Office installed on the computer by going to Start, Control panel and Programs and Features. If found you may uninstall them and then try installing the Office.

You may also use the Fix it tool to remove the older version of Office installed in the computer from the

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

Note: Ensure to save the fix it tool on the desktop and then run the file.

    Step 4:

Follow the steps in the article and check if that resolves the issue.

‘Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now” when trying to install the Office 2013’

    Step 5:

Now run the Fix it from the following article to remove all traces of the new Office on the system.

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501

Once the Fix it completes then you may install the Office and verify the results.

In addition to this, you may also refer the following link and check if it helps:

I installed it about a month ago but now it only works sometimes. I tried to re-install the entire thing and it led me HERE so I'm guessing it's not my system.

    What do we do now?

This is how I make my living and I can't if the tools aren't working... PLEASE HELP!

    Thanks!

...by the way; I am referring to "OFFICE 2013"
