registration error 0x15

I'm trying to sign in to my Office 365 account, and I continue to get an error message with code "0x15".  I've checked that I'm using the right account email and password associated with my Office 365 Home Premium subscription.  I've tried the "quick fix" and "internet fix" and I've tried uninstalling it and re-installing it.  I can't get beyond the window requesting me to register.  What's going on?

The problem was that my clock on the computer was not set to the correct date (it is not syncing with Internet time, and was stuck on 6/21/2013).  This caused several other programs to not be able to connect with the Internet, including Office 365.  When I set the clock to today's date, it synced up just fine.  Hopefully someone else with this problem reads this, before a Microsoft service tech sends them off on a wild goose chase.

I am having the same exact issue.  Started yesterday when Excel started freezing and crashing.  Uninstalled today and have been attempting to reinstall on the same computer with no luck.

No, I'm not using a proxy server, and I'm using IE as my browser.  I had Office 365 Home Premium installed on this computer previously, and when it started to get wonky, I blew it out and re-installed it.  From then on, it wouldn't activate.  I tried changing my email password, and that didn't work either.

    Hi Scott,

Let me assist you with the issue you are facing related to Office 365 sign in.

I need some details to assist you better:

Are you using a proxy server for the web browser?

Are you using Internet Explorer (IE) as the default web browser?

This issue may occur due to the firewall or the proxy server settings. If you have any proxy server set for your web browser, you may remove the proxy and see if that helps.

You may also ensure that you’ve set IE as the default web browser on the computer:

    Let us know the result

    Thank you.
