Sway API

I was wondering if there were any plans to publish an API for Sway?

If so, would this include being able to programmatically create Sways using something like C# on the 8.1/10 platform?

Thanks

Interesting idea. Could you submit on http://sway.uservoice.comand let us know a little bit more about the scenario you would like and why.

The idea has been tossed around before and we'd all like to understand your specific idea for use a bit more.

For me it would be great to have possibility to read sways as something structured, like json, so I can export it to almost anywhere (data, without visual formatting) to create local copy or display it in some app (like mobile app)

I have added feature requested as follow to the uservoice.com

Allow programer to add actionable link/item to Sway

One of usage of Swap is that programmers can provide custom Sway building components or parameterised actions that enable normal users to build amazing presentation that interacts with back end system.

An example is that end users can build a coffee menu and while parameterised actions can send information to back end system when users tapped on the Swap actions
