So it appears windows media player is not available for 10 enterprise N LTSB. Is that incorrect or do I indeed need to use a third party media player? If so which one works best with this version of windows?

Thanks

Firstly, let’s check if your system supports media player feature.
    Press Windows key + R
    Type: optionalfeatures.exe
    Hit Enter
Check if there is a feature called Media Features, if there is, check the feature to enable it, restart computer. On my Windows 10 LTSB 1607 machine, this feature is existed.

If you could not find it, you need a third party media player.
About third-party media player, I am using vlc media player, seems to be ok.

Thank you for your response, I had attempted this along with trying to download the Window Media packet and both did not work. I've since down loaded vlc and this seems to have resolved the issue. Thanks again.
