How do I apply Bold Plus character style in 2010 version? Thanks in advance

    If you're trying to apply a character style and also Bold, you must apply the character style first. If you apply Bold first, and the character style doesn't include Bold, then applying the character style will remove the Bold property. It would be more efficient to define a character style that included Bold.

    So keep the text i have been given and just make it bold?

    It would be the underlying character style + bold. You can call it whatever you wish.

    Styles work pretty much the same in all versions. Create the character style and apply it to the text in question.
