Remove Update Link Pop Up Window

In my presentation I have some slides that has a link to an Excel as such every time when the file is open, a pop up will prompt me to update link.

I know in version 2003 we can removed the pop up but in version 2007, I cannot find the feature to remove the link.

Please help.

    If you go to Office Orb > Prepare and choose edit links to files can you set the update to manual?
