A family of Microsoft word processing software products for creating web, email, and print documents.
Why would you need to retype it? Just change the font to match what's already in the document! Or paste it unformatted ("Keep Text Only"). Or you could modify your Normal template to use Times New Roman instead of Calibri.
Your first two suggestions do not work to produce a college level document because for whatever reason Word does not match the fonts correctly so that your professor will look at what will pass as a college level word processing document. Until someone tells you how to change the default, you end up with mismatched fonts. And YES, surprise! New Times Roman is not a presented choice when changing fonts, or normal.dot or template or whatever .
Next, I need to modify the Normal template?
First, why is this relatively complex scenario needed to change the text in the document? Well, Microsoft or some person decided that New Times Roman was no longer a font that should appear in the drop-down list of fonts.
I guess millions and millions and millions of Word users just wanted to get rid of New Times Roman.
