Microsoft Visual c++ Runtime Library Run time error, when opening a PDF file with Word2013

Dialogues pops up, when I try to open a PDF file with Word2013.

I have verified that AppData point to”%UserProfile%/AppData/Roaming "in windows registry.

The progress stopped whatever action I take.

Testing varieties of suggestions, I tried in vain to solve the problem.

Could anybody please give a helping hand?

Many thanks!

    Jeff,

Thank you for providing me suggestions!

Did you try opening the PDF files in Word safe mode?

I tried to open this file in Word safe mode, but this doesn’t help.

Dialogue pops up, asking me what text code to choose.

Whatever code I choose this file cannot be displayed correctly.

Did you try repairing Office 2013?

    I don’t know how to repair…

Login to the Word webapps (SkyDrive) and then try opening the PDF file and let us know the result.

Login to the Word webapps (SkyDrive) doesn’t help.

When I tried to open it through webapps, failure notice pops up.

I uploaded this PDF in SkyDrive for your reference.

This PDF file can be opened by Adobe Reader X 10.1.8 without any issue.
