Copy Text Object to Multiple Slides

I am preparing a photo presentation with shots from several locations on many individual slides. I would like to be able to copy a text object from the first slide to the same spot on the next 5 slides. I then will type new text on the bottom of slide 6 and would like to copy that to the next several slides, and so on. I hope I explained that clearly.

Is there a way to do this. I am pulling out what little hair I have left :-)

Many thanks for any help,

Vinny from Long Island, New York

It seems like this would be simple enough with copy and paste. Click on the edge of the text box, not the text itself. Choose copy, go to the next slide, choose paste, go to the next slide, choose paste...

    Dear David,

Thank you for your reply. What you suggested works fine. But it means I have to paste one slide at a time. My question is, is there a way that I can copy the text from one slide and then paste that text to Multiple Slides with one action? In other words, Copy from slide one and paste to slides (e.g.) 2 thru 5?

    Many thanks for your input.

    Vinny

The answer is yes, but any system to do this is going to be much more complicated than pasting, especially if you use Page Down and ctrl-V to move to the next slide and paste (super simple). Other solutions would involve setting up master slides for each set of slides or using VBA. I can't imagine these would be easier than Page Down and ctrl-V.
