Hi,
[Edit Dec 15, 2013]
you can open a new workbook and save as .xlsx
now,
you can use copy/ paste (all) only the pivot table, three times a day.
Each time in a new sheet separately.

Hi, for my school project, I am doing time tracking with excel. Picture will explain better.
This is the picture of sheet 1. Basically, I choose activity I do and put in start and end time for that. In Duration column, simple formula subtract start time from end time and show elapsed time. Pivot table is set up to calculate total hours spent for each activity. Let's say, I studied Bio for three times and one hour for each throughout the day. When I refresh pivot table, it shows up 3 hours for total hours of study for bio. I need to do this for entire day and everyday for 3 months. I am using one sheet per a day, so that will make 90 sheets. Since I don't want to waste my time rebuilding tables and pivot tables for everyday. I was thinking to use sheet 1 as a template and copy it down to another 90 sheets. My imagination was when I entered new data in new sheet (copied from template sheet 1), duration and pivot tables will give calculation according to new data from respective worksheet. I tried it for 3 or 4 sheets. Duration column works. But, pivot table still use data from template sheet and shows up calculation from sheet 1. My question is: Is there anyway I can copy and paste the whole template to another 90 sheets while making pivot table work and calculate and update itself according to relative data from each own worksheet? Thank you so much in advance!
