I am trying to graph a large data set in Microsoft Excel 2010 and I am receiving an Input Error- Non-Numeric data and the data set will not graph. What do I need to do with the data in order to make the histogram?

I am copying the data from a tab delimited file in excel into another workbook and I am having trouble graphing the entire data set.

I was able to find my problem in the data set. There were "NAN" comments in some of the cells which were causing the Histogram graphing software to return an input non-numeric data error.

I used ctrl "f" to search the data set in the excel worksheet and was able to find the cells with non-numeric data and was able to resolve the problem.

Is there our ways that I could eliminate or search the cells for Text data in the future?

    Thanks,

A response would be much appreciated.
