I have been trying to reload my Office 365. I was forced to uninstall Office due to Word not opening. Unfortunately during the removing the I got the error message code as seen above. I went to the online help section ran the solution software. I went to the reload Office on the computer and I received the same error message.I even deactivated the account under the My Account section. I ran the repair software again with no fix. I should still have 4 downloads left on my Home Premium package.

Did you look at the links on the right under the "Related Content" title?

Please give us the FULL and EXACT error message text.

Exactly how did you try to "Remove Office".

Have you tried the Fix It or manual process described in this tip:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501

Have you tried to first "Deactivate" your installation in the MyAccount page before doing the uninstall?  You will be able to re-install and activate on this computer and STILL have 4 activations available for other computers.

I was not forced to uninstall, only to close my word (from the subscription having run out) and the  popped up after I renewed, got the bill. One day later I still no useful answer from MS. The US supporter asked me if I have another device where Office is not yet installed. Just so. I want this device I am on for that Office and not the other one, at this stage. ;-)
