I am currently running windows 8.1 and using onedrive containing shared excel documents - all the editing works fine but I cannot insert a row or multiple rows.  The document owner has tried and cannot do this either.  I have created a test document in normal excel and uploaded it to onedrive and it will let me insert rows into that document but it is not shared with anyone - can anyone help ??

I'm experiencing the same issue.  Has anyone from Microsoft provided you with a solution?

When I try to insert rows in excel (onedrive), it doesn't work.

    Thanks.

Me again sorry - I have just tried to delete three rows and got the error message "your session has exceeded its limits and has been closed" then the sheet closes - the sheet size is 509KB and It is used purely for inputting data and moving it around for scheduling - no pivot tables or formulas or look ups

    Thanks

    Hello Lisa,

Do you receive any error message when you try to insert row?

What is the default browser in use?

Do you find the same issue if you use a different browser?

If Internet explorer, you may reset IE settings using the link below and check if you are able to download the app.
