After removing Microsoft Visual Studio 2013, since you are facing this issue with Excel and PowerPoint also, rather than resolving the issue on an individual application basis it is best to resolve the issue affecting the Office 2013 installation. Office 2013 installation on your computer seems to be corrupt on the computer. I suggest it would be best to do an Online Repair of Office 2013 on your computer.
Follow these steps to perform the Online Repair of Office 2013:
- Press the Windows logo key + X to see a list of commands and options. (Basically a quick way to get to Programs and Features in Control Panel.)
- Click Programs and Features.
- Click the Office 2013 program and then click on Change.
- Click Online Repair.
- Once competed restart your computer.
- Check if you are now able to work normally in Excel, PowerPoint and other Office applications.
