    Hello @Sunirmal Chakraborty ,

    Thank you for posting here.

Based on my test in my lab.

1-I installed RSAT on one non Domain-joined Windows 10 machine.

2-Then I should set Preferred DNS on this non Domain-joined Windows 10 machine.

Tip: I have two DCs in a.com, they are both DNS servers and DC servers (the IP address of them are 192.168.3.50 and 192.168.3.57).

3-I open AD Users and Computers. I right click Active Directory Users and Computers and click Change Domain, then I type a.com and check "Save this domain setting for the current console".

4-I will view/manage all objects on one DC in the domain.

In my case, I can create a domain user.

Hope the information above is helpful to you.

Should you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,
    Daisy Zhou

    Hello,

    Thanks! It worked!

Fortunately, I did not require to configure the DNS.
