Undo a sync conflict

I have a HP214 PDA which I was using to update an Excel spreadsheet.

When I synced my PDA with my desktop, there was a conflict as the spreadsheet must have been updated on desktop before being synced.

The version on my PDA was more current but the way the synce centre is set up,. it replaces the version on the PDA with the version on the desktop.,

I did not get a notification of any conflict and assumed everything was ok. Now it is not.

How do I restore the version of the spreadsheet that was on my PDA so that I don't lose the data?

Usually the sync setup would be configured to perform two-sync and update the file with latest update data. Just check if the settings if there is an option to set one-way/two-way sync.

I doubt that you're be able to recover the changed data.

Delete and re-create partnership and check if it works.

Also check if the sync software is updated..

you may also repair/reinstall the sync software and check if it syncs correctly.
