Position of data validation input message

Question

Is there a way to have the data validation input message box always be in the same postion?  I can move it once I open the file and it stays put but when I close the file and reopen it, the input message is back to where it was before.

Hey Deepa, 

tlc23 was clearly talking about the input box inserted by going to Data->data validation->Input Message. From the web forums, seems like this odd behavior is consistent with everyone's experience, it would be great to get this onto a bug/feature list for future upgrades.

How did you insert the data validation input box, is it using data validation or combo box?

Provide step by step instruction on how did you insert the data validation input box?

If you inserted the combo list box then right click on the box, click on format control and then properties. Under Object posting, select ‘don’t move or size with cells’.
