Onenote sync problem "Waiting for update"

I have 2 notebooks stored on Skydrive. One syncs without a problem. The other always gives the message of "Waiting for update". It reads "Last sync (current time)". It appears that the that all of my notes are synced to Skydrive but without opening every note I can't be sure.

    I have been struggling for weeks with "waiting to sync" to OneNote 2010 on OneDrive .  I had several Notebooks that would not sync completely and several that functioned perfectly.  I have "finally corrected" my problem

    I previously used OneNote 2007 and upgraded to OneNote 2010.  When I moved my notebooks to OneDrive, I used the "Convert to 2010" button to upgrade the old pages prior to moving them to the web. ---------- Some of the pages did not convert successfully and they were keeping the Notebook from totally syncing on the web.  To identify these problem pages or sections:

    • I ran sync from OneNote on my desktop
    • Closed the Notebook after the sync finished and showed "waiting to sync"
    • Misplaced Sections popped up.
    • I either "deleted the Misplaced section/page" - or- I copied and pasted the content to a new page.

    I then reopened the Notebook and ran the "sync" again.--- I now have a "check mark"!!!  I used this on 4 Notebooks and all four are now syncing all the way through.

    I also have this problem and have tried everything.

    I suspect that the problem is with one of the pages in the notebook.

    Hi have this message when i'm looking at a new section that another user has added.

    Waiting to sync whis section.

    Another OneNote program created it but has not yet uploaded the content.

    No matter how many times we sync the info i cannot see what is on his section.

    Ours is stored on a network shared drive.

    I already tried that. It did fix other sync problems but not this message. I can't find "Waiting to update" message in any documentation.

    Is it happens with 1 notebook, problem could be specific to that file.

    why don't to download it to local computer, delete from Skydrive,l  upload it again and then try syncing?
