Often when an internal function stops working its because of a Missing Reference. However, there would clearly show a "Missing" identifier in the References list.

Can you show us an Example of the Expression you are using (the ControlSource) that is no longer working.

It is desk top and following your instructions these are the only references to ACCESS and both are checked. don't understand "missing"

    Microsoft Access 15.0 Object Library

Microsoft Access 15.0 Database Engine Object Library

As I stated before new to Access I can follow instructions but do not necessarily understand.

    thanks

Is this the web version of Access or the desktop version?

If desktop: you did not answer Scott's question re References. Hit Alt+F11 to show the VBA editor. Then choose Tools > References and check if any of the selected ones are showing as Missing.

It shows blanks in all twenty reports I have created.  I am new to ACCESS so my reports are simple table reports created by report wizard.  They worked (for 6 months) up until two days ago.

    thanks

Did you check to see if there is a problem with references?

What, exactly, does not working mean? Showing an incorrect sum, showing a blank or an #Error or what?
