Powerpoint Hyperlink Security Popup

I have a Powerpoint presentation that I'm getting a warning popup window for the hyperlinks that go to pdf files (links to excel files open fine).  I've followed directions to make the directory a trusted location from within Powerpoint.  I've also updated the registry for Microsoft Office - Security adding DWORD DisableHyperlinkWarning with value of 1.

This is a Sales presentation and I need a way to do away with this popup window.

Have a look here; it describes a different location for the DisableHyperlinks reg edit:

Security warning message when clicking a hyperlink: "files might harm your computer"

Initially there were 2 warnings that would popup.  I updated the registry at the below locations and the initial warning went away.  I have hyperlinks to Excel and PDF files.  The Excel files open fine.  It's the PDF that I get the warning popup.  The header on the popup is Microsoft Office.

    Registry edits were made to:

          HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Common\Security

Where exactly did you add this value to the registry?

If it's in the wrong section, it will have no effect.

    Hello,

Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322756.

Since adding the DWORD value ‘DisableHyperlinkWarning’ has not helped, you may refer to other suggestions mentioned in the following article and check.

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925757

I hope the above information helps. If you need further assistance, you may reply and I’ll be happy to assist you.

    Thank you.
