PowerPoint 2013 presentation missing Theme colors

Dear all,

I have a .pptx file that I need to use to make a presentation with PowerPoint 2013. The file was

created with an old version of powerpoint (I don't which one), and in the Theme colors (like for Shape

Fill or Shape Outline) many colors are in a grey scale.

The file is not in compatibility mode, I suppose that it was saved in the current version before I got

it.

Can I fix that? I would like to use parts of another presentation fully made in pp 2013 but when I

paste parts of it in the other one, the colors change.

Thank you!

On the Design tab of the ribbon in the Variants group, click the downward-pointing triangle.

In the Gallery that appears, click Colors then choose Customize Colors.

That opens the dialog where you can edit the theme colors for the presentation.

When pasting from one presentation to another, you usually have the option to keep source formatting or apply the formatting of the presentation you're pasting slides into.  Choosing to keep source formatting might be the answer to the problem as well.
